It may not always be possible to conduct a digital (forensic) investigation post-event if there is no process in place preserve potential evidence. This study posits the importance of forensic readiness, or forensic-by-design, and presents an approach that can used construct Digital Forensic Readiness Intelligence Repository (DFRIR). Based on concept knowledge sharing, authors leverage this premise suggest intelligence repository. Such repository cross-reference evidence (PDE) sources help investigators during process. employs technique capturing PDE from different creating DFR able shared across diverse jurisdictions among experts law enforcement agencies (LEAs), form intelligence. To validate approach, has employed qualitative based number metrics analysis experts' opinion been incorporated.
